I like this quote because it also makes me think about how this relates to health and wellness–how healing takes place. Who is actually doing the healing? With every healing session...

I have always observed that it is an “inside job.” If there is healing, it is clear to me that it is the person being treated who is doing the healing. Others may have gifts to help enliven that process but it is the inherent intelligence within your own physiology and consciousness that knows what and how to heal.

Even if you find yourself in a state of illness or other physical or emotional distress and you wisely seek appropriate health care assistance (whether traditional allopathic or perhaps other alternative/complementary care, or ideally both) you must always know and trust that your healing will come from within, no matter what remedies or treatments you receive in your process.
