Ellie had never been to a session before and came on the recommendation of a friend. As I treated her during the group session, I noticed a density all around the area of the rib cage and chest. I asked her if she had been injured in this area and she said that she had suffered from emphysema for 40 years.
During this session she suddenly forgave her ex-husband who had smoked around her for years. She had blamed him for her condition because of the effects of the second-hand smoke.
When she left the session Ellie did not have to use her nebulizer the rest of the day and evening. She continued to have less difficulty breathing thereafter. One month later, after a visit her doctors, they informed her that her lung capacity had dramatically increased, although they could not scientifically explain it since emphysema is considered an irreversible degenerative condition.
