Death of a Zealot

Thanks to my friend, Stokes, for posting this on Facebook today:

“I mourn the loss of thousands of precious lives, but I will not rejoice in the death of one, not even an enemy. Returning hate for hate multiplies hate, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate. Only love can do that.” – Jessica Dovey (attribution to Martin Luther King Jr. is a Facebook hoax)

It is certainly a complex world we live in for the evolutionary development of the human soul. True compassion knows no bounds, even for those who express the least amount or no compassion in this world through such violent acts as OBL and others throughout history and yet, those who feel relief or even joy in his death, should not feel any guilt if that is their true feeling at this time. Your Body’s Capacity For Healing

Hear my interview on Blog Talk Radio about awakening your healing processes

Back in December I was  interviewed on the “Unlimited Realities” Blog Talk Radio Show, with the remarkable Lisa Zimmer Mahoney, endorsed by Dr. Bernie Siegel, Dr. Wayne Dyer, Dr. Larry Dossey and other pioneers in the field of personal and spiritual development. We spoke about how the Healing Spectrums sessions quickly enliven a specific brain wave function that gives access to universal information of the unconscious mind, beyond the capacity of the conscious thinking mind, to greatly accelerate your natural healing processes.

We also announced some very special bonuses and discounts for sessions/consultations and upcoming online self-treatment training. Research has indicated…that your body’s capacity for healing is greatest when this particular brain wave function is present. Continue reading ‘Your Body’s Capacity For Healing’

Life & Death: Two Sides of the Same Coin

In a recent radio interview, I discussed some of my experiences in helping souls in transition. While my work is mostly devoted to helping the living evolve and grow into greater health and wholeness (as is everyone’s birthright), I have had my share of experiences regarding the transition of souls. Sometimes I work with individuals to help them prepare and go through their imminent transition. Although it certainly can be a difficult thing for some to accept at first, there comes a time when one can begin to more gracefully embrace the experience. Who Does the Healing? How Healing Spectrums Sessions Work

People often ask if I am a “healer.” My answer: “I am a healing facilitator. YOU are the healer.”  In fact, you will never hear me call myself a healer because I am very clear that if there is any healing going on it is really being done by the person who is being treated. So how does this work?

Every “body” has the inherent healing processes already built into the physiology. It’s not rocket science or even mysterious. It is just that sometimes the body has a backlog of stresses or trauma that is not able to be processed efficiently. Remnants of trauma often remain embedded in the subtlest layers of physiology and become a functioning part of the structural physiology. These “artifacts” interfere with or weaken the natural healing processes and often result in the eventual manifestation of illness or dis-ease, both physically and emotionally—even spiritually.

The Healing Spectrums sessions create a very high degree of coherence throughout the physiology and very naturally and gently release some of these artifacts. As they are released, the inherent healing processes are greatly accelerated and become more efficient in their functioning. Certain brain wave functions that are known to enliven the body’s healing are more quickly accessed during the session. Simultaneously, one experiences a more peaceful and expanded state of awareness that is most often associated with one who has practiced deep meditation for decades. (I have treated people who have never meditated a day of their lives yet have this clear experience during their very first session.) Continue reading ‘Who Does the Healing? To Scan or Not to Scan?

How to Reduce Airport Stress:

If you have airline travel plans for the holidays, you are probably aware of the new policies in security, especially regarding the new full body scanners or the alternative “enhanced pat down.” These are obvious invasions of your personal space and they are stirring quite a bit of controversy and adding to the general stress of airline travel. This stress takes it’s toll on your physical and emotional well-being. So it is certainly helpful to take extra steps to minimize that stress while traveling. What can you do? Continue reading ‘To Scan or Not to Scan?’

Awakening the Healing Brain Wave

Children have it. Now adults can re-awaken it.

Scientific research has shown that the dominant brainwave functioning in children from infancy to about the age of 5 or so starts out in “delta.” It is the dominant wave function. It begins to diminish significantly during adolescence, as alpha, theta and particularly beta become more dominate. So over time, delta is mostly observed in stage 3 and 4 of the sleep state.

A Day for Gratitude

Wishing you all a very happy Thanksgiving

This is the time we often take to enjoy family and friends and to consider the many things in our lives that we are  grateful for. I know I am grateful for my family, friends and for the wonderful opportunitites that come to me everyday–even the ones that at first might not seem so wonderful. You know, the ones that you’re not always so grateful for as they are unfolding. The ones that after later reflection, you realize really were something to ultimately be grateful for.

But the thing I am most thankful for is…the gift of life. Continue reading ‘A Day for Gratitude’

Healing Stress: It’s an Inside Job

It would appear to most that stress is a natural part of human existence. That doesn’t necessarily mean that all stress is bad. In fact, doctors and scientists make a distinction between good and bad stress.  An intensely exhilarating experience can actually be stressful on some level of physiology, just as much as one that we consider intensely negative. However, the “good” stress seems to have a less impactful or lasting effect on physiology and can even have some positive benefit. We seem more able to recover from those stresses than we are from the “bad” stresses that linger and can cause even more distress. Why is that?… Continue reading ‘Healing Stress: It’s an Inside Job’

What Time is It? Now.

“With the past, I have nothing to do; nor with the future. I live now.” ~Ralph Waldo Emerson

During my NDE many years ago, I had the opportunity to experience being with only one time–the Present. Nothing else was required. As a living, breathing human being there is obviously a purpose for the concept of Past and Future; otherwise, no one would ever think of it! Both can serve us as long as we remember that nothing happens in the Past or the Future.

My take on it:  Past: done. Future: maybe. Now: now.

(Sounds like Emerson must have been the Eckhart Tolle of his time, eh?)

“I Love You”

Someone recently posed the question, “If you are in the presence of someone who is dying, what would you say to this person and how would you guide him or her?”

Having gone through my own death process after complications from emergency surgery many years ago, I came to realize the ever so important value of being present for someone who is making this transition from the physical body. And knowing that that person does hear you, even when he or she looks completely unconscious and unresponsive. The words, “I love you” have such a powerful impact… Continue reading ‘“I Love You”’

Healing “Medically Unexplained Illnesses”

There is a new emerging paradigm of medicine–to advance wellness and move beyond the treatment of disease as primary care. The Healing Spectrums for Health and Wholeness Programs can play an important role in this new health care approach.

In her new book, researcher and author, Susan K. Johnson, says,  “medically unexplained illnesses are among the most common disorders in primary medical care today.” Accordingly, there has been a recent surge of interest in the physiology of illnesses such as fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, chronic environmental sensitivities, and more.

The Healing Spectrums sessions and programs go even farther beyond just treating specific symptoms or illnesses… Continue reading ‘Healing “Medically Unexplained Illnesses”’

Neale Donald Walsch Quote

“The Ultimate Reality is that everything you think you need, you already have. It exists inside of you. Indeed, it is you. You are what you need – and therefore, you give yourself everything you need in any given moment.” — Neale Donald Walsch

I like this quote because it also makes me think about how this relates to health and wellness–how healing takes place. Who is actually doing the healing? With every healing session... Continue reading ‘Neale Donald Walsch Quote’

Difference Between Pain and Suffering?

During my Healing Spectrums sessions and consultations, I  often work with individuals who are dealing with varying degrees of pain. Naturally, no one wants to be in pain but the questions arise: What exactly is pain and what is it’s purpose? Is pain a bad thing? How do you deal with it? And of course, is there a difference between pain and suffering?

You can think of pain as simply a built in alarm system that is… Continue reading ‘Difference Between Pain and Suffering?’

What Happens After Your Healing Session?

You may notice specific benefits right away or in the few days after your session. The Healing Spectrums continue to function, well after completing a session, so your physiology will continue to use this healing energy in the most efficient way for its highest good. In fact, as more and more of the remnants of trauma (I call them “artifacts”) are released, you will begin to enjoy the results of an enhanced coherence within your physiology.

This coherence is the key… Continue reading ‘What Happens After Your Healing Session?’

Where’s the Bliss?

A friend of mine recently posted this quote by Deepak Chopra: ‎”At the source of life, and only there, one finds peace, harmony, and the undisturbed contentment of bliss.”

I reflected upon the “and only there” part for a moment and decided to write some of my own thoughts about that, in part based on my extensive near-death experience many years ago…
